The Angeles City government has intensified efforts to ensure road safety by requiring free drug testing for public transport

The Angeles City government led by Mayor Carmelo โPogiโ Lazatin Jr. has conducted drug testing in three PUJ terminals involving 243 jeepney drivers on Monday morning.
Preparations are in full swing for the mandatory and surprise drug testing of some 12,000 public transport drivers in Angeles City.
A total of 176 city government employees underwent a surprise drug test initiated by Mayor Carmelo โPogiโ Lazatin, Jr.
The drug testing is in line with the aim of Mayor Lazatin to ensure that the city hall will be a drug-free workplace, as stated in his eight-point agenda presented during his inauguration speech for his second term.
