Key officials of Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Metro Manila Council (MMC), and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) regarded the NLEX Connector as helpful in improving the efficiency of the road transport network in Metro Manila.
Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) unit NLEX Corporation and construction firm EEI Corporation have turned over the refurbished transient facility to Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in Tarlac City. The facility, which is part of the Caraballo Hall, will serve as lodging for military and civilian guests who are on official or personal travel near the vicinity of the command.
