NLEX Corporation turned over boxes of food and snacks for health workers assigned in vaccination sites in 13 LGUs in Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan City, Malabon City, Navotas City, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Bataan. These LGUs are covered by its expressway network.
NLEX Corporation today said that, with construction more than half way done, it will complete the first 5-kilometer section of NLEX Connector, a major infrastructure project that aims to alleviate congestion and improve mobility in Metro Manila, in the first quarter of 2022.
Since its opening in February this year, the recently expanded Subic Freeport Expressway (SFEX) has served over 1.3 million motorists traveling to and from Subic. The new road was also seen to have helped businesses, especially those located in the freeport area, recover from the economic impact of the global health crisis.
All lanes are now open at the Meycauayan and Bigaa bridges in Bulacan as the NLEX Corporation recently completed the rehabilitation of both bridges ahead of its original completion schedule.
