PLDT Inc. and Smart Communications, Inc. are intensifying efforts to protect children online in Visayas through the “Better Today
The Philippines’ largest integrated telecommunications network PLDT Inc. (PLDT) has been recognized at the 3rd United Nations Global Compact Network Philippines’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Awards for its Madiskarte Moms PH (MMPH) program.
In a message congratulating the club for its 74th Founding Anniversary, PLDT’s First Vice President and Corporate Communications Group Head Cathy Yang also commended the PPC for its quality reportage “against the backdrop of socio-political change and economic challenges.”

PLDT Inc. and its wireless arm Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have partnered with the local government of Cebu City and Lapu-Lapu City, and Passerelles numériques Philippines (PNPh) in upskilling over 200 senior citizens on basic smartphone usage, internet safety, and mental health awareness.
