PLDT Clarktel Inc., a unit of PLDT and the pioneer telecoms and digital services provider in the Clark Freeport Zone, has spearheaded the fiberization of the new terminal building of Clark International Airport (CRK).
PLDT Inc. announced today that its subsidiaries, Smart Communications, Inc. (“Smart”) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc., have signed Sale and Purchase Agreements in connection with the sale of 5,907 telecom towers and related passive telecom infrastructure for PHP 77 billion, a landmark transaction that is expected to have far-reaching benefits for all.
PLDT plans to surpass its record growth in its Home business, targeting wider penetration in Luzon and reaching new areas for growth in Visayas and Mindanao.
PLDT and wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) together with the PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) have extended 3,800 packs of relief aid to provinces in northern Luzon that have felt the wrath of Tropical Cyclone Maring. This is the biggest tropical storm aid that the Group has deployed in the time of the coronavirus pandemic.
