Philippine Air Force (PAF) will have the formal acceptance and turnover ceremony for its newly acquired Rafael SPYDER (surface-to-air python and derby) ground-based air defense system (GBADS) and second new Airbus C-295W medium lift aircraft today at Basa Air Base.
President Ferdinand Marcos on Friday signed Executive Order (EO) No. 7, which allows the voluntary wearing of face masks in indoor settings. Under EO 7, the wearing of face masks in indoor and outdoor settings shall be voluntary except in healthcare facilities, medical transport, and public transportation by land, air, or sea.
“The pandemic is fading away. We are learning to manage it and now it is time for us to all go back to work, to all go back to our normal lives, to remind ourselves of all the opportunities that were before us before the pandemic…It is time for us to go back to all of those endeavors that we were undertaking before COVID hit,” he added.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will sign into law today, October 10, the SIM Card Registration Act, which aims to promote accountability in the use of SIM cards and aid law enforcers to track perpetrators of crimes committed through phones.
