Mayor Pogi visited the new dialysis center at the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC), as the city government strengthens its medical services to benefit more Angeleños.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., together with the representatives of Widus Foundation Inc. and Widus Philippines Inc., on December 1, 2021 signed a memorandum of agreement for the computerization and integration of the hospital operation and management information system of Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) and six Rural Health Units in the city.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. led the groundbreaking ceremony for the 4-storey Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center formerly Ospital Ning Angeles (ONA) which is set to bring more health services to Angeleños and nearby communities.
Dr. Froilan Canlas, chief of hospital of Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC), revealed that hospitals in Angeles City are no longer overwhelmed as it recorded a steady decline in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases per day for the past two weeks, averaging 10 daily.
