In his last full year as a lawmaker, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan has continued to serve the interests of Filipino farmers, fisherfolk, and the agriculture sector through his legislative work amid the challenges and difficulties brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
AFTER Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan’s constant follow-up with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) for the roll-out of the provision on negotiated procurement with farmers and fisherfolk have finally been released.
Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan pushed anew for the passage of a measure that would give tax perks to Filipino manufacturers of COVID-19 medical supplies, stressing this would ensure adequate supply that are not overpriced and create jobs.

WITH farmers, fisherfolk, and other marginalized sectors bearing the brunt of the oil price hike, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan calls to suspend excise tax on fuel under the TRAIN Law.
