Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. has been named the Top 5 Mayor in Central Luzon by the 𝗥𝗣-𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰. (𝗥𝗣𝗠𝗗), a non-government organization which spearheaded the independent and non-commissioned performance appraisal survey, which revealed that Lazatin garnered a 78.92% appraisal rating.
Gov. Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda has led the gubernatorial race by 74.9 percent while his lone rival Danilo Baylon trailed at 17.1 percent, a public opinion survey conducted by Probe Data Processing and Research Services showed.

The independent survey, which was conducted from December 9 to 24, 2021, and participated in by 5,238 Mabalaqueños comprising 4% of the total voting population, showed that the incumbent administration’s slate is still the most preferred line-up to fill up Mabalacat City’s elective posts come May 2022.
