As of January 31, 2024, the Angeles City government has already received a total of 2,719,972 kilos of plastic
A total of 2,054,091 kilos of plastic were collected from the city’s 33 barangays and redemption booths from January 2022 to April 30, 2023 through the ๐ช๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ป โ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ธ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ฎ๐ project launched by Mayor Carmelo โPogiโ Lazatin, Jr.
Angeles City’s Walang Plastikan โ Plastik Palit Bigas project, which was launched by Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr. last year, has already collected a total of 1,776,209 kilos of plastic in a year.ย
Mayor Lazatin said that these 1,776,209 kilos of plastic were exchanged for 1,776,209 kilos of rice by the residents of the 33 barangays who participated in the project.
