The implementation of waste segregation at source commenced today, 11 March 2024, in all departments and offices of the
Starting this February 2024, the city hall departments and offices will start the implementation of “No Segregation, No Collection of Garbage” policy to instill the importance of waste segregation in reducing the waste being dumped in sanitary landfills.
Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. continues to encourage Angeleño households to practice waste segregation at source, in their own homes, as well as to reduce if not eliminate the use of plastics.
Starting in January 2024, the city government will strictly implement the “No Segregation, No Collection of Garbage” policy to instill the importance of waste segregation in reducing the waste being dumped in sanitary landfills.
