The Tarlac City Government on April 10, 2026 continued its initiative to remove tangled overhead cables across key areas of the city, as part of efforts to improve public safety and urban order.

The operation, led by the city government in coordination with the City General Services Office, Public Order and Safety Office, City Engineer’s Office, and City Planning and Development Office, aims to eliminate hazards caused by disorganized wiring while enhancing the city’s overall appearance.

Telecommunications companies, including PLDT, Globe Telecom, and Converge ICT Solutions, also participated in the cleanup drive, supporting the removal of tangled cable clusters.

The initiative reflects a collaborative effort to ensure a safer, more organized, and progressive environment for residents.
