The Lakeshore is set to light up the world — literally — as Central Country Estate Inc. (CCEI) partners with Vibe Events to stage Lumina at The Lakeshore, a spectacular festival aiming for a Guinness World Record (GWR) for the “largest display of water lanterns” on May 10, 2026.
The highly anticipated festival promises a breathtaking visual experience as thousands of illuminated water lanterns are released across the serene waters of The Lakeshore. The event will unite participants and spectators alike in a vibrant celebration of creativity, community spirit, and cultural pride.
During a press conference held Thursday, key figures of the event—including Mike Castañeda, Pampanga Tourism Officer; Perbon Beltran, Aquaculturist of Lakeshore; Timothy James Madrid of Vibe Events; and Maricar Pangilinan, PR and Marketing Manager of Lakeshore — showcased water lanterns as a preview of the enchanting spectacle to come.
The event will combine visual artistry, music, and festive activities, making it a must-see experience for locals and visitors. Organizers encourage the public to participate and witness history as Pampanga lights its way to a world record.
