The Medical City Clark has earned global recognition after being included in Newsweek’s 2026 World’s Best Hospitals list, ranking 15th among hospitals in the Philippines and emerging as the only hospital from Pampanga to make the prestigious list.
The annual ranking by Newsweek is considered a credible international benchmark, drawing from peer recommendations of medical professionals, patient experience data, and key quality performance indicators across thousands of hospitals worldwide.
For Central Luzon, the recognition marks a significant milestone. Long accustomed to traveling to Metro Manila for specialized and tertiary care, patients in Pampanga and nearby provinces now have access to globally recognized healthcare closer to home. Over the years, The Medical City Clark has steadily expanded its capabilities in critical areas such as cardiology, oncology, intensive care, and emergency medicine.
The distinction also builds on the hospital’s earlier achievement of securing Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, a globally recognized standard for patient safety and clinical quality held by only a select number of hospitals in the country.
Together, these recognitions affirm The Medical City Clark’s growing reputation as a leading healthcare institution in the region, reflecting its continued commitment to delivering world-class medical services in Central Luzon.
