The said medical mission was led by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, with the help of fifty (50) doctors from Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH), Rural Health Units (RHUs), district hospitals, and private hospitals together with hundred of nurses and other medical professionals.

The activity was aimed at providing a wide range of free medical services like consultations, free medicines, and referrals to district and private hospitals for minor and major surgeries free of charge, if the need arises.

The provincial government shouldered the medical expenses of the patients through guarantee letters and partnership with PhilHealth, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), and with the aid of some senators.

The Vice Governor said that the program intends to find and treat all sick Kapampangans whose conditions were severely worsened because of the restrictions brought by the pandemic.

She also encouraged all Kapampangans to participate in the succeeding medical missions of the provincial government as it intends to bring the programs and services of the provincial government closer to the people especially those who are in need.
