It was a threefold TGIF for Savers Group Holdings, with the celebration of not one, not two, but three important events today, September 24!
Savers Mall Extension Building, which is nearing its final stages of construction, was topped off. Savers Mall Parking Building was formally inaugurated, and the cemented and improved Looban Street was officially opened.
Savers Mall Extension Building
A topping off ceremony was held to celebrate Savers Mall Extension Building nearing its final stages of construction, which commenced in August 2020. Target completion date is June 2022.
Inauguration of the Savers Mall Parking Building
The 4-storey, 120 capacity Savers Mall Parking Building was formally opened. With this, Savers Mall-goers, diners of Namari, Cactus Jack, Spencer’s and other food outlets in the building, plus guests of Best Western Metro Clark Hotel and the upcoming new hotel, would have convenient, safe and secure parking.
In addition to the slots at the Parking Building, at least another 100 slots may be availed at the 4,500 sq.m. open parking area. Parking is free for all Savers Mall
Opening of cemented, improved Looban Street
As part of its CSR, Savers Group Holdings, Inc. sponsored the cementing and improvement of Looban Street, which is adjacent to Savers Mall. This improved road was also formally opened today.
Present in the topping off and ribbon-cutting ceremonies were Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr., Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) Vice President for Operations IC Calaguas, Balibago Barangay Captain Rodelio ‘Tony’ Mamac, and executives of Savers Group Holdings Inc.: Chairman & CEO Jaime ‘Jack’ J. Uy, Chief Finance Officer Rufino M. Cordero Jr., General Counsel & Corporate Secretary Atty. Eric Mendoza, President of J.A. D. Savers Development Jansen Ivan K. Uy, President of JS Metro Clark Food Corp. Justine Shaun K. Uy, Director of Tandem & Steffen Development Company Inc. Jayson Steffen K. Uy.
Moving forward
Savers Group CEO Jack Uy shared what the extension building will offer: “It will house additional brands of electronic appliances and gadgets, and there will be new office spaces. The upper floors will have another 101 rooms for Best Western Plus Metro Clark, and each room will be equipped with state-of-the-art room interior. There will also be a premier ballroom, which may conveniently seat 550 persons.”
But wait, there’s more!
In addition to Cactus Jack Smokehouse, Namari Japanese Bistro, Spencer’s, another specialty restaurant, this time a premium Chinese resto will open – Legend Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant, which will be on the 4th floor.
Saving the best for last, for wellness and relaxation, Best Western will have a Korean spa and aesthetic center at the 14th floor, or the roof deck.
