Over 200 beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program joined forces to plant trees along various bypass roads in Tarlac City, turning their temporary employment into a meaningful contribution to the environment.

The greening initiative kicked off this October in the following areas:
🌿 Bypass Road Balanti
🌿 Bypass Road Tibagan to Balanti
🌿 Bypass Road Sinait
🌿 Bypass Road San Isidro and Aisle
🌿 Bypass Road San Carlos and San Francisco
🌿 Bypass Road from Lucinda to Ungot
Implemented through the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Tarlac City under the leadership of Mayor Susan Yap, the project aims to make Tarlac City greener, cleaner, and more livable—while providing short-term employment for residents.

The initiative is funded by the SSS GSIS Partylist, which shares the city’s goal of protecting the environment and empowering Tarlaqueños through community-based livelihood programs.
