Women leaders from across technology, cybersecurity, business, medicine, and media gathered for the “InnovateHer: Israel-Philippines Cybersecurity Brunch,” hosted by Ambassador of Israel to the Philippines, H.E. Dana Kursh in celebration of Women’s Month.
Organized in partnership with the Israel Economic and Trade Mission to the Philippines, Philippine Chief Information Officer Association, and Women in Security Alliance Philippines, the event highlighted the growing role of women in cybersecurity while fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

In her remarks, Ambassador Kursh emphasized the importance of inclusive spaces and strong professional networks, noting that barriers in cybersecurity are often rooted in perception and access rather than ability.
Key speakers included Chiqui Escareal-Go, who discussed leadership and innovation, and Liat Azulay, who shared her journey in the tech industry. Ofek Venecianer also presented Israel’s robust cybersecurity ecosystem and its potential for stronger collaboration with the Philippines.
The event also featured Israeli firms such as Amdocs, Check Point Software Technologies, and DeviceTotal, showcasing advanced solutions and innovations.
Through InnovateHer, the Embassy of Israel in Manila reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women in technology and strengthening cybersecurity partnerships between Israel and the Philippines.
