Angeles City concludes National Arts Month with a simple yet meaningful ceremony at Plaza Angel, Museo Ning Angeles.
The program opened with the symbolic burning of prayers written in Kulitan, or “Pamagdaun Pangadi Keng Banal a Api,” led by Kapampangan indigenous visual artist Norman Tiotuico.



Kuliat Foundation Inc. (KFI) President Lincoln M. Baluyut, in his message, expressed that the theme “Ani ng Sining, Diwa at Damdamin” has “truly resonated throughout the events, reminding us of the profound connection between art, spirit, and emotion. It is through these expressions that we can celebrate not only our rich cultural heritage but also the boundless creativity of the Angeleños.”
He thanked all the artists, performers, and partners who contributed to the success of National Arts Month, reminding all “to nurture the spirit of artistry and collaboration, not just this month, but all year round. Together, let us keep the flame of our culture burning brightly for generations to come.”



Certificates of recognition and special awards were given to participants of the Children’s Art Workshops. And the event was livened up by marked performances from CCA Sayaw Angeleño Dance Troupe and Kapampangan bands.
The closing ceremony of National Arts Month in Angeles City celebrated the vibrant local culture and creativity. With a focus on collaboration and artistic expression, the event reminded everyone to continue nurturing the spirit of the arts all year long.
