Over 1,200 patients lined up at the BUCAS Center in Sto. Tomas to avail the services of the “Alagang Nanay” health care program.
Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, who leads the ‘Alagang Nanay’ medical mission, said that the provincial government will do its best to deliver medical services and medicine to Kapampangans who need it, especially those who require medical attention and even surgery.
Based on the results from the blood screening done, many patients are hypertensive, hyperglycemic (high blood sugar) and have elevated creatinine.
Those who underwent the free medical check-up were given the necessary medicine, vitamins and food packs.
