Angeles University Foundation (AUF) is expanding beyond Central Luzon for the first time through a strategic partnership with Maplecrest Group Inc. (MGI) and Rivermoor Inc. (RMI), marking a significant milestone in its mission to deliver quality Catholic education nationwide.
Under a landmark agreement signed on May 30, 2025, AUF will establish a flagship campus within a new mixed-use township in Cavite. The collaboration with MGI and RMI — both values-driven investment firms — positions the university as the educational cornerstone of a township envisioned to foster long-term social impact and sustainable regional growth.
“This partnership reflects our enduring mission to form persons of integrity and excellence, while extending access to quality Catholic education in a rapidly growing region,” said AUF President Dr. Joseph Emmanuel L. Angeles.
The future campus will be strategically located within the township and accessible via the Cavite Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) system, ensuring convenience for students, faculty, and staff.
Guillermo C. Choa, speaking on behalf of MGI and RMI, underscored the shared vision behind the project: “World-class education must be part of the foundation of urban planning. AUF’s strong values and commitment to human development align with our goal of building thriving, sustainable communities.”
He added, “This is not just a school—it’s a catalyst. AUF’s presence transforms this development into a living, learning, and thriving community.”
With this partnership, AUF brings its legacy of academic excellence, formed since its founding in 1962, to a new frontier—strengthening its role as a key institution for both education and community transformation.
