The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and Hann Philippines, Inc. have officially launched the first phase of a 10-hectare public park within the Hann Reserve, a 450-hectare eco-luxury resort in New Clark City, Tarlac.
Designed to integrate Philippine folklore and the natural beauty of Mount Pinatubo, the park will feature three phases: the 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲, and 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲.
The 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲, inspired by Mount Pinatubo’s contours, will include mountain bike trails, fitness spaces, and treetop bridges. Completion is set for 2026. The 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲, scheduled for 2028, will feature shaded walkways, seating areas, and artistic sculptures. The 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲, expected by 2030, will showcase play areas with folklore-inspired structures and volcanic rock elements.
BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang highlighted the project’s significance for New Clark City, describing it as a milestone in the agency’s vision of sustainable urban development.
“This park symbolizes a greener and healthier future, fostering well-being and community connection,” Bingcang said.
Hann Philippines Chairman and CEO Dae Sik Han noted the park’s role in enhancing Hann Reserve’s appeal to local and international visitors seeking wellness, nature, and leisure.
The groundbreaking ceremony on November 22, 2024, was attended by BCDA and Hann Philippines executives, including BCDA Vice President Engr. Randy Viacrusis, OIC-Senior Vice President Engr. Richard Brian Cepe, and Hann Philippines Vice President Neki Liwanag.
The park is part of Hann Reserve’s broader goal of integrating nature and culture, aligning with BCDA’s commitment to sustainable development and smart urban planning.
