In a significant move towards improving governance, BDO Foundation has formalized its partnership with the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) to implement the Performance Governance System (PGS) across two provincial governments and five divisions of the Department of Education (DepEd).
The partnership was sealed during a ceremonial signing attended by key leaders, including BDO Foundation President Mario Deriquito, ISA CEO Evaristo Francisco, and BDO Foundation trustee Ma. Corazon Mallillin, who also serves as BDO Branch Banking Group head. Witnessing the event were BDO Network Bank President Jesus Antonio Itchon and Salary Loans Group Head Alberto Quiogue.

The PGS is a comprehensive framework designed to help public sector organizations create and execute long-term strategies for reform. It incorporates global best practices to guide public institutions in achieving and sustaining transformative goals, ensuring continued progress despite changes or disruptions. With a four-stage governance pathway, the PGS provides a structured approach to elevating the performance and effectiveness of government institutions.
ISA, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the public sector, envisions a “Dream Philippines” where every government institution excels, and citizens thrive through active participation.
This collaboration represents a significant step in advancing governance and fostering positive change within the Philippine public sector.
