The Bureau of Customs (BOC)–Port of Clark, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Airport Interdiction Unit (PDEA-AIU), intercepted a parcel containing suspected cocaine and ecstasy valued at approximately ₱1.562 million.
The shipment, which arrived from London and was bound for Dumaguete City, was flagged based on derogatory information shared by PDEA. A K-9 sniff test conducted on April 28, 2025, confirmed the presence of illegal drugs, prompting a full physical examination.
Authorities discovered the parcel concealed travel and first aid kits, along with **five vacuum-sealed plastic packs. Two of the packs contained around 128 grams of suspected cocaine, worth an estimated ₱678,400. The other three contained 208 grams of suspected ecstasy (MDMA), valued at approximately ₱884,000.

Samples were sent to PDEA’s laboratory and confirmed as cocaine and MDMA—both classified as dangerous drugs under Republic Act No. 9165.
A Warrant of Seizure and Detention was issued for violations of multiple provisions of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (RA No. 10863), in relation to the Dangerous Drugs Act.
District Collector Jairus S. Reyes emphasized the importance of continued vigilance and coordination between agencies. Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio reinforced the agency’s commitment to protecting communities and strengthening border security.
“Beyond just intercepting shipments, our goal is to safeguard the Filipino people and support the administration’s anti-drug campaign,” said Rubio. “This is about saving lives and securing the nation’s future.”
This operation aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to intensify efforts against illegal drugs and protect Filipino communities.
