The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthen financial education (Fin-Ed) for students and teachers at a meeting with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the BDO Foundation at the DepEd Central Office in Pasig City.

BSP Deputy Governor (DG) Bernadette Romulo-Puyat (center) said the BSP will share its financial education videos, modules, and other resources for use under DepEd’s MATATAG portal, covering Kindergarten to Grade 10 curriculum and social media pages. In addition, the BSP will share financial consumer protection materials for the personal financial management training of teachers and non-teaching personnel.

The objective is to enable students, teachers, and non-teaching staff to make sound financial decisions.
