Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III underscored the dual purpose of the award-winning program: providing updates on provincial initiatives and serving as a platform for public feedback to enhance government services.

“We deeply appreciate the recognition from the PCO for our weekly ‘Kwentuhan Tayo, Bataeño.’ The number of viewers isn’t the focus—what’s important is having a platform to inform our fellow Bataeños about developments in our province,” Garcia said.

The governor also commended the dedication of the Provincial Information Office (PIO) in organizing and sustaining the program despite challenges.

PIO Head Angel Lara echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that the award underscores Bataan’s commitment to fostering meaningful conversations and implementing impactful communication strategies.

“The ‘Kwentuhan Tayo, Bataeño’ program isn’t just informative; it’s also interactive. Beyond sharing news, it has become a platform where people can seek help and voice their concerns,” Lara noted.

Launched in July 2022, the initiative has been instrumental in raising awareness of the provincial government’s efforts while promoting unity and pride among Bataeños. Its engaging content appeals to a diverse audience, including students, professionals, families, and entrepreneurs.

The recognition from the PCO reinforces Bataan’s leadership in public communication, setting a benchmark for other provinces to follow. (PIA Region 3-Bataan)
