Cebu Pacific announced the cancellation of multiple domestic flights on Tuesday, 23 July 2025, due to continuous heavy rains, widespread flooding, and the anticipated impact of Tropical Depression Dante on flight operations.As of 11:00 AM, the following flights have been grounded:

✈️ 5J 471/472: Manila – Bacolod – Manila
✈️ 5J 581/582: Manila – Cebu – Manila
✈️ 5J 615/616 and 5J 685/686: Manila – Tagbilaran – Manila
✈️ 5J 639/640 and 5J 647/648: Manila – Puerto Princesa – Manila
✈️ 5J 653/654: Manila – Tacloban – Manila

Affected passengers have been notified via email and may choose from the following options through the Manage Booking portal at www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:
- Free Rebooking – Passengers may rebook their flights within 30 days from the original travel date without fare difference. Fare differences may apply beyond the 30-day window.
- Travel Fund – The ticket amount may be stored in a virtual wallet for future bookings or add-ons such as baggage or seat selection.
- Refund – Full refunds are also available.
Cebu Pacific warned that further delays or cancellations remain possible in the coming days depending on weather developments. The airline is coordinating closely with airport authorities to minimize disruptions.
Additionally, passengers with flights to and from Manila scheduled from July 23 to 25 who wish to defer travel may avail of free rebooking or convert their tickets into a travel fund up to two hours before departure.
Cebu Pacific reminded the public NOT TO PROCEED TO THE AIRPORT unless their flight is confirmed to operate. Passengers are encouraged to check real-time flight status through www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status or the CEB mobile app, and to ensure updated contact details for SMS and email notifications.
