Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, capped off 2024 with the delivery of its 17th aircraft for the year—a cutting-edge A321neo. The milestone highlights a year of remarkable growth, marked by expanded operations and an enhanced network.
The 236-seater aircraft landed in Manila on December 24, 2024, bringing Cebu Pacific’s commercial fleet to an impressive total of 91.

“The arrival of this new aircraft underscores our commitment to meeting growing travel demand while enhancing connectivity for our passengers in 2025 and beyond,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
The Airbus NEO (New Engine Option) is known for its fuel efficiency and sustainability. Compared to older-generation aircraft, the A321neo burns 15% less fuel per flight, emits less carbon dioxide, and generates less noise, aligning with Cebu Pacific’s goal of reducing its environmental footprint.
Earlier this year, on October 2, Cebu Pacific announced a historic purchase agreement with Airbus and Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, for up to 152 A321neo aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines. Valued at approximately USD 24 billion (PHP 1.4 trillion) at list prices, this acquisition marks the largest in Philippine aviation history.
Operating one of the world’s youngest fleets, Cebu Pacific’s diverse commercial lineup includes 10 Airbus A330s, 40 Airbus A320s, 26 Airbus A321s, and 15 ATR turboprop aircraft. This mix enables the airline to maintain the widest network coverage in the Philippines while continuously improving its services.
As Cebu Pacific looks ahead to 2025, the arrival of the A321neo solidifies its position as a leader in Philippine aviation, committed to delivering sustainable and world-class travel experiences.
