The Pampanga Capitol will hire Christian Moises Fajardo Gamboa, son of an OFW who died in Dubai.

This, after Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Luningning Vergara brought Gamboa to Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and asked that Gamboa be given a job.

Gamboa graduated with a degree in Industrial Technology Major in Graphics from Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) in September 2023. He is a talented graphic designer.

According to PESO, the young man will be temporarily hired under the Government Internship Program (GIP) while the formal hiring is still being processed.

“Many, many thanks to Gov. Delta for the opportunity. I will not pass it up, this kind of thing happens rarely,” said Gamboa.

Gamboa’s mother, Jenny Fajardo Gamboa, was among those killed in Dubai on April 16. According to him, the real reason behind the death of the mother is still unclear as it is said that she died due to suffocation when she was trapped in a car with another fellow OFW who also passed away.
