Cebu Pacific opens direct Cebu–El Nido flights via Cebgo

Travelers from Central Visayas now have a more convenient way to reach the world-famous island paradise of El Nido as Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, officially launched direct flights between Cebu and El Nido via its subsidiary Cebgo (DG) on October 26, 2025.

The new daily service enhances connectivity between the Visayas and Palawan, offering greater accessibility for tourists and boosting local economies that depend on the travel industry. These flights complement existing services to El Nido operated by AirSWIFT.

During the inaugural ceremony at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu Pacific Marketing Director Michelle De Guzman emphasized the route’s role in promoting balanced tourism growth across regions.

“By opening more direct routes, especially between secondary cities, we reduce dependence on major urban gateways and help spread tourism benefits more evenly across regions,” De Guzman said. “It means more opportunities for local businesses and more freedom for travelers to explore without breaking the bank.”

With this new route, Cebuano passengers can now easily access El Nido’s breathtaking lagoons, pristine beaches, and clear turquoise waters. Cebu Pacific also offers flights from Cebu to other Palawan destinations, including Puerto Princesa, Coron (Busuanga), and Port Barton (San Vicente).

Cebu Pacific currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, continuing its mission to make travel more accessible for every Juan.
