𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐔𝐑𝐈 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

Central Luzon Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) etched their names among the Global Top 300 Innovative Universities, clinching coveted spots in the Top 100 across 13 categories in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2024, as announced during the 4th Annual Conference of the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) held at Franklin University, Switzerland on June 7, 2024.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) emerged as Central Luzon’s frontrunner, achieving an impressive 110th place globally. TAU further distinguished itself in specific categories, ranking 17th in Student Support and Engagement, 35th in Symbol and Promotion, and 72nd in Entrepreneurial Spirit.

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) also accomplished significant strides, securing the 135th spot overall. Its commitment to entrepreneur spirit, industrial applications, and crisis management was evident in its respective placements of 14th, 22nd, and 26th in these categories.
Meanwhile, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) demonstrated its exceptional resilience and leadership, ranking 29th in global resilience, 26th in leadership, and an impressive 7th in funding, culminating in an overall rank of 268th.
Tarlac State University (TSU) reintroduced itself by ranking 281st overall, with notable placements of 30th in Student Support and Engagement, and 39th in Crisis Management, and 52nd in Funding.

Mabalacat City College (MCC) also received global ranks for its innovations as the lone local Central Luzon college in WURI 2024, ranking 49th in Crisis Management, 69th in Industrial Applications, and 90th in Student Support and Engagement.

On the other hand, President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) marked its debut in WURI through its noteworthy leadership and social responsibility efforts, attaining 44th and 71st places respectively in the said categories.

Furthermore, Bulacan State University (BULSU) showcased its strengths in supporting global resilience and crisis management, securing ranks of 36th and 41st respectively.
Consequently, Angeles University Foundation (AUF) accentuated its initiatives in promoting openness and sharing of resources, seizing the 57th rank in Student Mobility and Openness.

𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑊𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑅𝑎𝑛𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝐼𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 (𝑊𝑈𝑅𝐼) 𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑠 ℎ𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑒𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠’ 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑏𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑡𝑦, ℎ𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑒𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑐ℎ 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡. 𝑈𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑔 13 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑔𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠, 𝑊𝑈𝑅𝐼 𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑠 𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑑𝑠, 𝑜𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑒ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠’ 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑠 𝑜𝑛 𝑠𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡.
