Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. fulfilled his earlier commitment as he awarded a Certificate of Recognition and a ₱100,000 cash incentive to Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2025 Allyson Hetland of Barangay Pandan, Angeles City, in recognition of her pageant victory.

The lawmaker had announced on December 11 that he would personally give Hetland the cash incentive following her win, which marked the return of the Mutya Ning Kapampangan crown to Angeles City after a seven-year hiatus.

Lazatin previously served as mayor of Angeles City from 2019 to 2024, with Hetland being the last Mutya Ning Angeles he crowned before stepping down from office.

Joining Cong. Lazatin during the awarding were Chief Adviser and Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas, and Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel.

Hetland’s victory has been widely celebrated as a proud moment for Angeles City, highlighting both her achievement and the city’s renewed presence on the provincial pageant stage.
