DOST AURORA DISTRIBUTES E-LEARNING MATERIALS TO SCHOOLS IN DIPACULAO

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has distributed E-learning materials to public schools in Dipaculao, Aurora.

Dinadiawan Elementary School and Dinadiawan High School were the beneficiaries of a total of 12 units of the Prompt Recovery Education Program with Network-Enhanced Teach Aid (Prep-Net), which were allocated to schools affected by Typhoon Pepito.

According to DOST Aurora Supervising Science Research Specialist Maria Ana Espiritu, the initiative aims to ensure the continuous provision of quality education in communities with no access to electricity.

Each Prep-Net unit is equipped with an E-learning tablet that allows teachers to access K-12 modules approved by the Department of Education.

The system also includes a battery-operated projector that can be connected to the E-learning tablet, enabling students to view the modules.

Various government agencies continue to provide support to help the province of Aurora fully recover from the impacts of Typhoon Pepito. (PIA Region 3-Aurora)
