First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) has teamed up with Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc. to bring advanced connectivity to its 600-hectare industrial hub. This partnership aims to provide world-class internet services to over 150 companies and more than 70,000 employees in the park.
The agreement was signed on October 11, 2024, by First Philippine Holdings (FPH) Chairman and CEO Federico R. Lopez and Converge CEO Dennis Anthony Uy at Rockwell Business Center in Ortigas, Pasig.

Converge will use FPIP’s existing dark fiber infrastructure to offer fast and reliable internet, giving businesses more flexibility in choosing their service providers. FPIP’s investment in dark fiber infrastructure, which began in 2023, allows faster internet service deployment and more affordable connection fees for companies in the park.
Dennis Anthony Uy highlighted the importance of strong connectivity in industrial parks like FPIP, which serve multinational companies and drive economic growth in the CALABARZON region and the entire country. He emphasized Converge’s role in enhancing FPIP’s competitive edge.
Federico R. Lopez added that reliable digital infrastructure is key to the daily operations of businesses in the industrial park. He expressed confidence that Converge would help improve innovation, efficiency, and growth for the companies located there.

This deal marks the first major project under Converge’s Global Business Group, which aims to offer high-speed internet and digital transformation services to businesses across the Philippines. The partnership also includes digital transformation services such as cloud, cybersecurity, and collaboration tools to support the park’s companies in adopting new technologies.
FPIP, founded in 1996, is one of the fastest-growing industrial parks in the Philippines, hosting major global manufacturers like Canon, Collins Aerospace, Dyson, Honda Philippines, and Nestle Philippines.
Converge is a leading provider of high-speed fiber optic internet in the Philippines, with a network spanning over 707,000 kilometers and 8 million fiber ports.
