Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr. ordered the Suspension of Face-to-Face classes in ALL LEVELS in ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS in Angeles City on Thursday, 18 April 2024 due to the extreme heat index.  Alternative modes of instruction are allowed.  

Meanwhile, Mayor Lazatin has granted the request of the Angeles City Private Schools Association to have the discretion to suspend face-to-face classes as well.

Private schools have the option to continue on-site classes, provided they assume full liability for any untoward incidents involving their students.
