Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda led the “Kapitolyo sa Barangay” program held in in the town of San Simon this Tuesday, May 14th.
At the Brgy. Sto. Niño Covered Court Governor Delta checked on the needs of six hundred (600) people from the barangays of Sto. Niño and San Agustin. He also promoted proper health care and encouraged the attendees not to hesitate to come to the Capitol in times of need.
“Magsabi lang po kayo sa inyong mga opisyal sa barangay, at sila na po mismo ang magdadala sa inyo sa Kapitolyo,” said Gov. Delta.
Meanwhile, at the San Isidro Covered Court, where some 650 people were given aid, Governor Delta reminded the barangay officials to prioritize the Cabalens in need of medical assistance.
Here, 58-year-old Elena Yamson extended gratitude to the governor, saying “Sana humaba pa ang buhay ni Gov. Delta dahil lahat ng taong nangangailangan, tinutulungan niya. ‘Yung mga walang-wala, kapag dumaing, kaagad niyang binibigyang pansin.”
The aid distribution was conducted with the help of staff from PSWDO, PDRRMO, PTO, and GSO, along with San Simon Mayor Abundio Punsalan and PDRRMO Chief Angelina Blanco.
