A total of 6,791 college students from across the province received financial assistance from the provincial government on Thursday, March 7.

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda led the distribution of financial aid together with Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab during ceremonies held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center.

Each student received ₱4,000.00 under the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) of the Provincial Government.

Governor Delta said that the assistance aims to alleviate the financial strain students face due to academic expenses. He stressed the significance of investing in education to empower the youth and propel progress within the province.

“Pagpursigihan yung mayari ‘nak para king future yu at future da reng pamilya yu,” he said.

Under the administration of Governor Delta, the provincial government has supported the education of some 13,603 college students and 23,186 Grade 12 students through financial assistance programs.

In addition to college and Grade 12 students, the provincial government is also supporting the expenses of scholars who passed their board exams.
