Hann Reserve, a 450-hectare eco-luxury sanctuary in New Clark City, Tarlac, is set to redefine the landscape of eco-tourism and community living in the Philippines. Designed as a haven of sustainability, luxury, and cultural appreciation, the project boasts three 18-hole championship golf courses by Nicklaus Design, KJ Choi, and Sir Nick Faldo, complemented by the country’s only PGA-affiliated player development facilities.
The development also features an impressive lineup of luxury hotel brands, including Banyan Tree, Sofitel, The Luxury Collection, and Intercontinental Hotel, along with an international school, a commercial center, a casino, and exclusive residences. Enhancing this vision is the creation of a 10-hectare public park, set to become a hallmark of New Clark City.
Recently, Hann Reserve celebrated the groundbreaking of this world-class public park, a collaborative commitment with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA). The park will serve as a space for relaxation, recreation, and cultural connection for both residents and visitors, weaving the richness of Philippine folklore with the natural beauty of Mount Pinatubo.
The park’s design incorporates three distinct phases: the Active Zone, the Passive Zone, and the Kids Zone. Phase 1, the Active Zone, inspired by Mount Pinatubo’s flowing contours, will offer mountain bike trails, fitness areas, treetop bridges, and plazas enhanced with folklore-themed art. Designed to challenge and inspire, this phase is set for completion by the end of 2026.
Phase 2, the Passive Zone, focuses on tranquility and reflection. Shaded walkways, serene seating areas, and volcanic-inspired sculptures create a peaceful retreat, fostering harmony between nature and cultural heritage. This phase will be completed by 2028.
For younger visitors, the Kids Zone in Phase 3 brings play to life with folklore-inspired structures and volcanic rock formations. Designed to spark imagination and creativity, the zone features slides, climbing areas, and interactive play spaces. Completion is expected by the end of 2030.
Hann Reserve’s commitment to sustainability and inclusivity is evident in every aspect of the park. Native trees and resilient plants will dominate the greenery, requiring minimal maintenance while supporting natural growth. Elevated walkways will allow flora to thrive underneath, and amenities like amphitheaters, mini golf courses, and picnic areas will be accessible to all visitors.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang highlighted the park’s significance for the community, describing it as a “promise of a greener and healthier future for all.” Hann Philippines Chairman and CEO Dae Sik Han echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the park’s role in fostering physical fitness, social interaction, and cultural appreciation.
Hann Reserve’s public park is poised to become a cornerstone of New Clark City’s vibrant community, offering an extraordinary blend of recreation, culture, and sustainability. Designed for generations to enjoy, it underscores the vision of Hann Reserve as a premier destination for eco-luxury and community living in the Philippines.
