𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬

The Angeles City government, led by Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, and Kuliat Foundation Inc. headed by President Lincoln M. Baluyut, held wreath laying rites in honor of the 82nd Martyrdom Anniversary of José Abad Santos.

Jose Abad Santos  y Basco was the fifth chief justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, who served as acting president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines and acting commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines during World War II. He was executed during World War II for his refusal to collaborate with the Japanese.

Among those present at the event were Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, Angeles City Tourism Officer Anneleen Antonio, officials of Kuliat Foundation, Inc., representatives from the Jose Abad Santos Masonic Lodge 333, Col. Ken Vega, Councilors Alex Indiongco, Niknok Bañola and Dan Nacu.
