House Bill declaring Pampanga as Culinary Capital of the Philippines passes Second Reading

House Bill No. 10634, which declares Pampanga as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines, has been passed Second Reading.

The Bill was sponsored by former president and current Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and the Chair of the House Committee on Tourism, Romblon

Pampanga Governor Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda, in his official FB page, shared this news and expressed gratitude to his sister, former Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab who initiated the Sangguniang Panlalawigan resolution from which the House Bill took off.

Gov. Delta believes that, once enacted into law, House Bill 10634 will boost food tourism in Pampanga, and will benefit food manufacturers, restaurants and even carinderias here.
