JO KOY APPLAUDS PAL CREW AFTER EMERGENCY LANDING IN JAPAN

Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy had nothing but praise for the cabin crew of Philippine Airlines (PAL) after their flight, PR102, was forced to make an emergency landing at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on April 9.

Jo Koy, who was on board with his family en route from Manila to Los Angeles, took to Instagram on April 10 to commend the flight attendants for their calm and professional handling of the situation.

“I’m gonna say this—the flight attendants on Philippine Airlines were amazing,” he shared. “Above and beyond, you guys were pros.”

He thanked the crew for guiding passengers through the emergency with composure, adding, “Thank you for remaining calm in a situation that could’ve [gone] south, fast.”

PAL later confirmed that the flight was diverted to Haneda after smoke was detected in the cabin, traced back to one of the plane’s air-conditioning units. No injuries or serious damage were reported, and all passengers were declared safe.

Jo Koy assured fans that he and his family were unharmed and were waiting for another flight back to the U.S.
