ใ€ฝ๏ธ7 plants have been on forced outage since January to May 2024, and 10 power plants between June and July 2024; while 5 are running on derated capacities, for a total of 3,017.9MW unavailable to the grid.

๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜:

  1. Sual U2 tripped at 7:41AM due to possible boiler tube leak.
  2. GNPD U2 will start to ramp down at 11:00AM and target emergency shutdown at 1:00PM, due to boiler tube leak.

The Visayas and Mindanao grids are under normal condition.

A ๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission gridโ€™s contingency requirement.
