Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. conducted today, November 29, an ocular inspection at the completed construction of the phase 1 of the 4-storey building in Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center, formerly Ospital Ning Angeles, which is set to bring more health services to Angeleรฑos and nearby communities.

During the inspection, Mayor Lazatin was joined by City Councilor Atty. Arvin Suller, Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, RLMMC Chief of Hospital Dr. Froilan Canlas, General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo, and City Engineerโ€™s Officer-in-Charge Helen Ayro.

According to Dr. Canlas, the emergency room (ER) of the RLMMC is the biggest ER in the Philippines.

Canlas also added that the second floor will be for the operating rooms, while the third floor will focus on pediatric patients, and the intensive care unit rooms will be placed in the fourth floor.

This hospital building will also have P200 million worth of state-of-the art medical equipment.

Apart from this, the city government is also acquiring additional dialysis machines to address the needs of Angeleรฑos, especially those in the marginalized sector.
