The celebration of National Arts Month, whose theme this year is “Ani ng Sining, Diwa at Damdamin,” officially kicked off today, February 3, with a program held at the Santungan Ning Kalalangan, Abacan Loop, Angeles City.

Among those present at the event, which is organized by the Angeles City Government (through the Angeles City Tourism Office) in cooperation with the Culture And Arts Council of Angeles and Pamitipun King Panyúlung Ning Kalalangan At Ámánang Kabiasnan Kapampangan, are Pampanga First District Congressman and Angeles City mayoral Carmelo ‘Jon’ B. Lazatin II, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, Pamitipun President Norman Tiotuico, Kuliat Foundation, Inc. President Lincoln M. Baluyut, City Councilors Edu Pamintuan, Chris Cortez, Alex Indiongco, Raco Del Rosario, Niknok Bañola and reigning Mutya Ning Angeles Allyson Hetland.

Artists participated in the on-the-spot painting contest, and their work will be displayed at Museo Ning Angeles from February 5 to 28, 2025.

The event was also made special by performances of Anak Bale Balayan, CCA Sayaw Angeleño Dance Troupe and AUF Dance Troupe.
