NLEX Corporation earned international recognition at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards held in South Korea, taking home one Gold and two Silver Stevie Awards for its outstanding programs on road safety and community welfare.

Celebrated for promoting workplace innovation across 29 markets in the region, the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards acknowledged NLEX’s impactful communication strategies and educational initiatives that promote safer roads and support community development.

β€œWe are driven by our commitment to nation-building and improving lives,” said Donna Faylona-Marcelo, NLEX Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management. β€œThese awards affirm the value of our programs and inspire us to continue creating meaningful change for our stakeholders.”

NLEX received the Gold Stevie Award for its original children’s picture book, β€œAng Bida ng Kalsada,” which teaches road safety in a fun and engaging way for young readers. It also garnered two Silver Stevie Awards for its flagship community programs: PUNLA, which empowers women-led enterprises, and Mission Road Safety, an education campaign targeting high-risk road users.

This year’s competition drew over 1,000 nominations from 22 countries, reviewed by a panel of more than 100 business leaders and professionals.

NLEX Corporation is a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the tollways unit of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC).
