PAL EXPANDS TO BUSUANGA, NOW WITH DAILY FLIGHTS FROM CLARK

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to enhance its domestic network with the introduction of daily flights on the popular Clark-Busuanga (Coron) route, starting March 1. This expansion comes as part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to bolster tourism and stimulate economic growth in key destinations.

The new schedule will increase the current frequency of four weekly flights to seven, responding to the rising demand for travel to Northern Palawan.

As the gateway to Coron, Busuanga Airport connects visitors to some of the most picturesque landscapes in the Philippines, including stunning beaches, crystal-clear lagoons, and a thriving marine ecosystem.

For many travelers, Coron is a haven for adventure, from diving at world-class sites like the Twin Lagoons and Barracuda Lake to exploring vibrant coral reefs, some of which have formed around sunken warships, earning Coron a spot in Forbes Traveler Magazine’s list of the top ten best scuba diving sites worldwide.

“We’re thrilled to open up more opportunities for tourists to explore the hidden gems of Coron,” said PAL Express President Rabbi Vincent Ang. “By upgrading to daily flights on the Clark-Busuanga route, we aim to offer more convenience and affordability, making it easier for both foreign and domestic visitors to enjoy Coron’s natural beauty, especially as we approach the summer season.”

With this new addition, PAL will now operate a total of 42 weekly flights to Busuanga (Coron), further strengthening its presence in the region. In addition to the daily Clark-Busuanga services, the airline also offers three daily flights between Manila and Busuanga, as well as twice-daily services from Cebu to Busuanga.

The Clark-Busuanga flights will be operated using the 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft, known for its near-jet speeds and quieter in-flight experience.

Aside from the new daily Clark-Busuanga services, PAL also offers other convenient connections from Clark International Airport, including daily flights to Cebu, three weekly flights to Siargao, four weekly flights to Basco (Batanes), and seasonal nonstop services to Seoul Incheon, available until March 4.

Travelers can book their flights through the Philippine Airlines website at www.philippineairlines.com, the PAL mobile app, the PAL Hotline at (+632) 8855-8888, or through their preferred ticketing offices and travel agents.

PAL’s Expanded Clark-Busuanga Services (Effective March 1, 2025):

✈️ PR 2678 Clark to Busuanga (Coron) – Daily, departing at 03:45 PM, arriving at 04:45 PM
✈️ PR 2679 Busuanga (Coron) to Clark – Daily, departing at 05:15 PM, arriving at 06:20 PM

With these new daily flights, PAL is set to offer more convenience and greater access to the stunning destination of Coron, ensuring that travelers can fully enjoy what Northern Palawan has to offer.
