The Philippine Furniture Furnishings Market (PFFM) is rolling out the red carpet for industry professionals and business partners with its Hosted Buyers Program, focusing on unique opportunities to engage with leading suppliers and gain insights into the latest innovations in the furniture and furnishings sector.
“The Hosted Buyers Program underscores our dedication to making PFFM a premier event that drives growth and collaboration for the furniture and furnishings industry, not only in the Philippines but in the region,” says Vicky Tan, Project Director of Derrisen Sdn Bhd.
Open to individuals from relevant industries who wield purchasing authority or influence in procurement decisions, the Hosted Buyers Program is one of the highlights of the PFFM, which is slated from July 4 to 6, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
The program includes a range of benefits, including exclusive networking opportunities and pre-arranged onsite business meetings with participating furniture and furnishings suppliers. In addition, eligible participants will receive a minimum of one night of free hotel accommodation and shuttle service to and from the event venue, ensuring a seamless and comfortable PFFM experience.
“The PFFM 2024 presents an opportunity to unveil the latest market updates within the furniture industry, particularly concerning its intersection with the sectors of hotels and tourism. This platform offers invaluable insights into emerging trends, challenges, and innovative solutions, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration to propel our industry forward in alignment with the evolving needs of these key market segments,” shared Benito “Bong” Bengzon Jr., Executive Director of the Philippine Hotel Owners Association (PHOA).
In its second year, the PFFM will feature around 100 international companies from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Europe, alongside Filipino manufacturers, offering the latest home furniture, outdoor furniture, office and commercial furniture, home décor, and lifestyle products.
“The SHDA will continue to support the PFFM and the furniture industry. The provision of housing is constantly evolving. The process changes take into account new environmental developments and challenges, climate change, rising incomes, lifestyles, and preferences. As a result, the furniture industry must adapt to the ever-changing environment and factors,” said Santiago Ducay, Executive
Director of the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA).
The PFFM is organized by Derrisen Sdn Bhd and is supported by the Association of Purchasing Managers of Hotels & Restaurants of the Philippines (APMHRP), the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP), the Philippine Hotel Owners Association (PHOA), the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA), and the United Architects of the Philippines
(UAP).
