Cebu Pacific (CEB) reminds passengers of the proper guidelines for carrying and using power banks onboard, in accordance with regulations set by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
Passengers are permitted to bring power banks with a capacity of up to 100Wh. For power banks with a capacity between 100Wh and 160Wh, prior approval must be requested at the check-in counter.
For safety reasons, the use or charging of power banks during the flight is strictly prohibited.
Power banks must be carried as hand luggage and should be placed in a pocket or in the seat pocket in front of the passenger. They are not allowed in the overhead bin or under the seat. To prevent potential hazards, passengers are advised to securely pack their power banks and spare lithium batteries by taping the terminals, using the original packaging, or placing them in plastic bags or pouches.
Passenger safety and comfort remain Cebu Pacific’s top priority. For further details, please visit: bit.ly/CEB-PowerbankFAQs.
