Philippines to showcase Sights, Culture, and Flavors at ITB Berlin 2025

The Philippines will proudly present its diverse offerings at the Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Berlin 2025, set to take place from March 4 to 6, 2025, in Berlin, Germany. Organized by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines and the Department of Tourism (DOT), the event is the world’s largest travel trade fair, attracting tourism professionals, industry leaders, and global destinations for networking and business opportunities.

Leading the Philippine delegation will be TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles, who will head the country’s largest private sector group to date, accompanied by representatives from 29 private tourism stakeholders and one government agency. The Tourism Infrastructure and Export Zone Authority (TIEZA) will represent the public sector.

Private sector participants include renowned travel agencies such as Annset Holidays, Ark Travel Express, Baron Travel, and Boracay Adventures, as well as key hotels and resorts like Amorita Resort, El Nido Resorts, and The Lind Boracay.

The Philippine stand at ITB Berlin will highlight the country’s iconic destinations, including Siargao, Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, and Benguet. Visitors will experience Capiz-inspired accents and witness a skilled animator from Sagada demonstrate traditional pottery-making, offering a unique insight into the craftsmanship of Ilocos and the Cordilleras.

“ITB Berlin offers a crucial platform for us to engage with global stakeholders, showcase our destinations, and position the Philippines as a premier travel destination,” said Nograles. “With our exciting lineup of exhibitors and cultural activations, we are ready to make a significant impact on the global stage.”

In addition to business engagements, the Philippines will host a Networking Night on March 4, where trade buyers, private stakeholders, and officials from DOT and TPB will showcase Filipino cuisine and culture to the German market.

The country’s participation in ITB Berlin 2025 reaffirms its commitment to fostering international partnerships and driving sustainable growth in the tourism sector. The delegation is eager to forge lasting connections that will contribute to the continued success and growth of Philippine tourism.
