The Department of Health has certified Mabalacat City RHU 3’s Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC), which is set to serve residents of select barangays under RHU3 every Monday and Thursday starting June 20, 2024.
Residents from the barangays of Mabiga, Dapdap, Sapang Balen, Paralayunan, Bundagul, Sta. Maria, Macapagal, Calumpang, and Marcos can avail of the ABTC services from 1 PM to 6 PM, except on holidays.
Individuals are required to present a valid ID with their address for verification purposes.
The RHU3 Mabalacat, where the ABTC services will be provided, is located at the intersection of Kalamansi St. and Kasoy St. in San Rafael Village, Mabiga.
Mayor Cris Garbo expressed his gratitude towards the collaborative efforts of key people involved in the project, including Dr. Rosemarie Anne M. Liong, the head of RHU3 and ABTC Physician, Nurse Murphy Manlapaz, ABTC Nurse, and the entire RHU3 ABTC Team.
Mayor Garbo issued directives to the City Veterinary Office and all barangay officials to educate fur parents against rabies.
